SL 218 SA features a powerful digital signal processing, which provides the filtering and the necessary corrections to the transducers in order to obtain a faithful sound. Both from the monitoring software, via Ethernet, and from the keyboard and screen on the rear side, the preset to be used can be chosen. Two low pass crossover frequencies are available with or without enhancement at 55Hz, and their corresponding presets for 1 to 1 cardioid settings (one forward, one backward) or 2 to 1 cardioid settings (two forward, one backward). You can also add delay and use up to 8 parametric filters for room corrections.
The SL 210 A features high performance and sensitivity transducers: two 10 speakers, one of them passively filtered in order to control the directivity in the Mid-Low range, along with a compression driver featuring a polymer PM-4 membrane coupled to a 120º Horizontal coverage horn.
